Is US global influence waning?

US economic and political power is set to decline over the next two decades, according to the National Intelligence Council's Global Trends 2025 report. The report predicts that China and India will compete with the US for influence, while Iran, Turkey and Indonesia will also gain power. It also suggests that the world will grow more dangerous as the battle for scarce resources intensifies. What do you think of the report's predictions?
